Mokuleia

Waves were pretty good at GD's today but damn that spot is getting crowded.  Lots of long ones today and almost 4'.  Last surf of 2010?  Hope not.

Christmas surf

Christmas day..........Country too big, east-side looking good.  Didn't surf but checked out Diamond Head.  Small, nice and clean conditions but super crowded.  Everyone must be trying out their new boards.  Lighthouse looked really fun.

Decent waves at the park this morning but the water was gross.  Couldn't tell paddling out in the dark but could tell paddling in with the sun up.  Leaves, foam, plastic, colored water.......yuck.  Lots of soap at the shower today.

Another December south swell

Looked like summer this morning at the park, that includes the crowds.  Glassy, fun waves.

Makapuu

Drove out around Makapuu today.  Was surprised by the amount of work done to prevent rockslides.  Big job.

Not much surf today and choppy compared to town.

Perfect conditions this morning with a fading swell.  Wish I could have gone North but still lots of fun in town with the gang.

December South Swell

What a surprise to find some waves at Diamond Head on Saturday.  3' sets, glassy and not too crowded.  Score!

Had some fun ones today at Concessions and 2nd holes but sounds like Sunday was the best day of all.

Maybe can score the country later this week but town should have waves too.

Pipe, Mokes

Pipe Masters on today.  Nice waves but only about 6'  Hope it gets bigger.  Bruce Irons coming up soon.

Surfed Glass Doors yesterday.  Mixed swells but clean and 4'.  Hadn't been to Mokes for awhile so lots of fun.  Much better than 2' town.

Mellow weekend.  Yardwork then a quick Diamond Head surf and some shopping at Ala Mo on Saturday.  Found another pair of boardshorts at Nordstrom Rack, score!  Late Saturday watching TV and a lazy Sunday shell and glass collecting.  Visted Grandma Yamano, she was well.

Black Friday

Happy Thanksgiving!  Had a good one at Jon's last night, everyone in a festive mood and lots of ono food.
Checked out Ala Moana Shopping Center this morning, it was nuts but fun to see.  Shoulda took some pics.  No outrageous bargains if you ask me.
