Ala Moana

Showed up this morning but the swell didn't so went for a run instead.  Nice morning with lighter winds.  Maybe this weekend.

Where's the waves?  No surf since a surprise saga session on Sunday.

North Shore

Took a ride out to the North shore today for a firstwind job.  Those windmill things are HUGE.  Glassy 2-4' surf, Mokes would have been good.  Everywhere upside looked packed but fun.

No surf - town too small, country too far.

Five-O

 "Indo-like" conditions this morning, too bad it wasn't Indo-like swell sizes.  Fun, mellow morning with the usual gang and 2 donkeys.  They were filming Five-O again in the park but no sign of Kono today.

Warriors!

Nice & glassy at Concessions this morning.  Not as big as expected but still fun.  Fun weekend with the highlight being UH taking it to Nevada on Saturday.  The defense looked good and Moniz is looking like the real deal every game.  Very impressive, bring on Boise, haha.

Also had the food and new products show at Blaisdell.  Couldn't believe how crowded it was, much more than some of the other events there.

TGIF

Another beautiful picture perfect day.  Waves got a little better than yesterday.  Better tide and swell direction. 

End of a short work week.  Surfed everyday this week, very rare to wake up everday.  Big UH/Nevada game this weekend, should be a close one but I say take the points. 

Coconut Island

Waves turned for the worse today.  Oh well, it's been fun recently.

Made a recent paddle over to Coconut Island for a picnic and a swim.  Always nice to spend time in the Bay.

Chilean Miners

Fun waves again this morning in town, not bad for October, and the best part so far this week, no crowds!  Chile started the rescue of the 33 miners yesterday evening.  Been watching it on tv and the internet and can't get enough of it, just one feel good story after another.  What a terrible ordeal finally ending.

Good Surf

Been surfing some pretty good waves recently.  Friday and Saturday at Mokuleia, GD's and Fuji's pretty fun.  Town came up yesterday and today was good too with a light crowd.  Lots of waves and tired arms, score! 

Fun weekend, went kayaking in the bay on Saturday and to the Fishing festival on Sunday.  Also been playing some pretty respectable golf lately.  Life is good.

Wild Bean

Been awhile since the last post.  Surfed this morning at Concessions.  Barely enough size and a little bumpy but kinda fun with a mellow crowd and some small ones for everyone.  Went to the UH-La Tech game this past weekend.  Moniz is awesome this year............if you ask me he's right up there with Colt and might be better with his mobility.  NFL?  Possibly. 

Felt like some coffee and happened to be passing by so checked out the Wild Bean coffee wagon yesterday and needless to say came away very impressed.  Latte anyone?

C'est la Vie

Still trying to get over missing SAGA Thursday.  Waves were good this morning but "nothing like yesterday".  Waaaaaaaahh!  I've tried to be there almost every day with swell, waiting for that day.  I skip one day and it turns out to be THE day.  Wednesday and today were fun enough but sometimes that's how it goes.  Cest la vie, I guess.
