Gout!

Painful, gout-filled weekend.  No surfing, no excercise, no alcohol, bland food.........but still pretty fun.

Weekend, Sony Open

Relaxing weekend.  Surfed all-time Fuji's on Saturday morning, only 1-3' but lining up perfectly all the way through the inside.  If it wasn't so crowded it would have been epic, wish I had my video camera out there.
Went to the Sony at Waialae to see how it's done and saw lots of friends and family.  Had some tasty Moroccan food on Saturday night.  Various pics:

Haven't been down to see the crew for awhile so stopped by this morning.  Beautiful, freezing morning with perfect conditions and super tiny waves.  Not many people around, only longboarders and SUP's today.  Went for a run and a swim and talked story for awhile.  Water was way warmer than the air.
