Fun time in Van last weekend.  Lynn Canyon is a cool place, would like to explore the area more.  Besides that, lots of shopping this time.

Most of the Sakura was not ready yet this year.  The olympic housing area was pretty cool.

Concessions 3' again.  Nice to see everyone again, people coming out of winter hibernation.

1st south swell a little bigger today......rare 4' sets!  Windier and more crowded than yesterday.  Fun.  No pics of the sets, just some crappy ones.

Summer is coming. Finally.

Small south swell.  Finally got to surf and there should be decent waves all week, town and country so things are looking up.

   Waikiki looked nice and sunny later in the morning.

Possibly the best conditions/coverage I've seen in the last 25 trips there.

Weekend, off to Whistler

Fun weekend except for the lack of waves.  Dawn patrolled just to stand around and talk story.  Hope to find better skiing.  Too bad for Sylvester and Kaui, off to the pet hotels for the week.

Took Kaui to cruise the beach yesterday.  Lots of kites out.

Devastating damage in Japan.  Insane footage on TV, some of the heaviest videos ever.  So sad.  Thoughts, prayers and best wishes for all affected.
