Hump Day

Fun, uncrowded waves today.  Almost 3' on the sets and clean conditions.  Lefts better than the rights.  Kooked out and went head over heels while dropping in on Jess.  The Fro guy dropped in on Joanie, haha.  Going to attend Mark's Mona Vie tasting thing tonight.

Sleep

Slept in this morning, hoping for more swell later in the week.  The winds have slacked and it could be a muggy few days.  Raining in Kaneohe this morning caused a cool double rainbow.

New Week

Congrats to Spain, what a party that must be!

Fun waves in town again this morning.  Smaller than the weekend but beautiful weather and clean conditions.  So stoked with the new X-1!

Quiet weekend. Viva La Espana!

Lazy weekend.  Fun waves Saturday and Sunday.  Medium crowds.  Saw Reid at the park early Saturday but he went to Bowls.  Ala Moana shopping on Saturday.  Congrats to Spain for winning the world cup.  The 3rd place Germany/Uruguay match on Saturday was exciting too.

Mt Kaala

Tiny little waves at the park this morning.  Small but glassy and consistent.  Good enough for a quick jog and a 45 minute session.  Went up Mt Kaala Road for the first time.  Awesome road with awesome views.  Would be so fun to ride a bike down.

4th Weekend

Relaxing 3 day weekend.  Spent more time with Malia before she left on the 4th.  Dove for tako and found out they're definitely not in season right now, not even a peep.  Bought some lychee in Chinatown.  Golfed a little.  Checked out the fireworks in Kailua, ok but not as good as in town.   

Ghana/Uruguay

Great World Cup so far and the finish of the Ghana/Uruguay game today has got to be one of the craziest ever.  Exciting!  Poor Ghana and Gyan.
