Full weekend

Saiko Happy with present
Weekend full of non-stop activity.  Birthday, beach BBQ's, lunches, hiking, etc.  Little bit of everything except waves.  Need a new swell. 

Saw the Black Pearl ship outside of Mom and Dad's.  Might have to check it out soon.

Full Moon

Sure saw a lot of the moon rising and setting this weekend.

Flat Birthday

No waves.  Happy Birthday Saiko!

Hump Day

Tiny waves on Wednesday.  Glassy but the swell is pretty much gone.  Picked up Saiko and headed to Nordstrom Rack so she could find some sneakers. 

Tried out a new Izakaya named Tairyo near Ichiriki.  Tried a bunch of stuff and got stuffed!  Pretty good, Saiko said Osaka style.

Summer Surf

Typical summer waves the past couple days.  Surfed uncrowded and glassy Concessions and 2nd Holes yesterday.  Really nice conditions.

  Went to surf Bowls with Reid and Egan Inoue today.  First time surfing there and didn't get any good left sets but surprisingly caught quite a few waves.  Smaller lefts and bigger close out rights.  Fun to change it up.

Haleiwa Art Festival

Relaxing weekend.  Started with some crappy waves Saturday morning.  Headed out to Haleiwa for the art festival.  Quite a few artists and some tasty food with a nice crowd.  Headed around and stopped at Lani's for my Japanese tourist who wanted to see the honu.  There were some waves at Lani's and a few guys out but it was windy.

Went to Ward to see Grown Ups on Sunday, what a silly movie.  Great cast but just silly.

TGIF

End of another work week.  Looking forward to a relaxing weekend.....some surfing, watching some British Open.  Maybe take a drive to Haleiwa for the art festival.  Checking out the surf forecasts, doesn't sound like anything special anytime soon but at least it'll be rideable.
