Kobe had fresh legs and the big guys dominate the paint.  Damn they looked good last night.  Small surf and box jellyfish coming this weekend.  First Friday tonight, hope to go.

Surfing not so good so far this week.  Yesterday was windy, bumpy and inconsistent and today was nice and clean but super crowded.  Hope things improve, especially with the crowd.  Was up at UH yesterday, school is out so it was deserted but I noticed alot of construction going on.  Lots of projects all over campus.  They're finally fixing Biomed and Hamilton Library is done and looking nice.  Stoked to see a Simply Ono lunchwagon on campus so got a ahi plate for lunch.

Memorial Day Weekend

Nice long weekend with beautiful weather.  Started out by losing money in poker again.  Had it going for awhile but couple of bad hands and it was all gone.  Shoulda walked earlier. 

Saw Ironman 2 at Windward Mall then checked the new food court for the 1st time.  Saiko left for a week in Japan so took Kaui to the beach on Sunday and got together with the gang for some v-ball on Monday. 
Surfed some crappy Diamond Head on Saturday and shitty Threes on Monday.  Missed Sunday and turns out that was the best day.  Oh well, win some, lose some.  Anyway, relaxing memorial day weekend and thanks to the soldiers.

Home + Work

Back to the routine here, without the surf.  Not used to the mugginess after the perfect weather in Vegas but this morning was beautiful in Kaneohe, not a cloud.  Finally got some work piling up with the State trying to spend all their money by the end of June.  Not the best procurement practices if you ask me.

Aria & Artest

Ron Artest, I don't know......he plays hard but what a dummy........lucky he got redemption at the end. Hope they can close them out in Phoenix. 
Glad to be home.  Happy with some cash in hand, not a winner but well within budget.  Got to visit Aria and part of the city center last night, unbelievable development, huge, huge, huge.  Aria casino is real nice, gotta stay there soon.

Viva!

Finished 3 day conference here in Vegas.  Good conference.  Awesome weather this week.  Vegas has nicer sunsets than Hawaii, everyday so far has had a killer one.  Highlight of the trip so far (besides parleying my hard 8 when I really needed it) has been running into Rampage Jackson and his entourage at the MGM.

Up and down trip so far..........better than disaster.  Maybe tonights the night!
