Football Season

Slow weekend with no waves and nothing exciting going on.  Alaska trip is coming up soon and can't believe football starts this week already.  Gotta get psyched for the season.  Surfed the park this morning on a pretty high tide.  Some rideable ones but the week ahead looks grim.  Bubba and Mia went home so it's back to usual here.

Beach

Bubba and Mia had their last day at the beach today so stopped by and got some pics.  It was colder than it looked.

Great morning

Beautiful morning at Ala Moana park today.  Started with a setting full moon and then there was a awesome double rainbow.  Waves were glassy, uncrowded and pretty consistent with sets up to 2'.  Galen made an appearance for the first time in a long while.  Great morning.

3 day weekend

Long weekend made even longer with a Hotel Association golf tourney on Thursday.  Won a free night at the Fairmont Kea Lani ...... score but probably can't afford a 2nd night.  Dad's birthday on Saturday and then won some money pitching golf balls on Sunday.  $20 a shot, closest wins ........instant $60.......score!  Tiny waves at the park this morning, at least last week was fun.

Swell

Really fun swell with Friday being the peak with some 4' sets.  Saturday was the best, solid 3' and totally empty.  Score!  Couple of pics of the declining swell.

Waves!

Nice swell today, finally.  Not that big but pretty consistent and lots of waves for everyone.  Surfed so long, didn't have time to take pics.  Little windy but so nice to have waves with a little juice.
